Surfer, ex-Competitor, Coach, Guide or Instructor, I especially like to share my passion.
My name is Jonathan (“Jo”) Bunel, 41 years old including 28 years of diligent practice. I am a former national level surf competitor, originally from Cotentin (50), trained as an engineer and then became an entrepreneur.
Nothing brings me as much pleasure as helping my friends, family or students progress while having fun in the ocean!
So I also became a guide, coach, surf instructor (Ex State Certificate, specialized sports educator), but also trainer of instructors for the French surf federation, specialist in weather and equipment. I also practice sailing and spearfishing.
For 11 years, I have also been a shaper and the inventor of SilkonBoard (digital decoration process for surfboards).
I traveled a lot to settle down a few years ago with my son (9 years old) near Biarritz.
I explored every corner of the coast, in all weather and swell, which allows me to direct you to “the right place, at the right time”, in a safe setting and with equipment adapted to your level.
