We plan lessons in advance based on tides and seasons. These times are established in advance, and communicated to you to enable you to organize yourself as best as possible.
However, the weather and the evolution of the sandbanks play essential roles in surfing. This is why we closely monitor the forecasts to offer you the best conditions.
So, a few days before your course, we adjust the time and location together according to the weather conditions to guarantee a session:

During peak periods, regulatory constraints and parking possibilities are also taken into account when establishing the meeting point.

We will not go from the first session to surf tubular waves above the Basque reefs, nor eat sand at the Gravière in Hossegor. But if this is your goal, then why not prepare for it!
However, learning weather forecasts, tides, reading “rip currents” and other “baïne” effects are particularly worked together to quickly bring you towards more autonomy.
For beginners, we will choose sandy spots, in gently sloping beach configurations such as Hendaye, but also Anglet, Bidart or Biarritz when the swell and tide permit.
For experienced surfers we will start with an evaluation of your technique and your seamanship in a good “semi hollow multipic beach break”
